Over the past 15 years, digitalization and streaming platforms have revolutionized music consumption — but not artist-listener interaction.
Today, 90% of the music market revenue comes from streaming, yet emerging artists struggle to grow communities or earn fairly.
Sonear was born from this paradox: to create a platform that connects, values, and sustains artists and their audiences through direct collaboration.
The name Sonear blends Sound, Hear, and Near — symbolizing proximity through sound.
The platform merges the logic of Spotify and Instagram, keeping only the best of both: a listening service with a real social dimension.
Artists build their own “Klub”, a personal space where they share updates, posts, and exclusive content.
Through Klub+, listeners can subscribe directly to support artists, redistributing up to 50% of their subscription revenue to them.
The user experience was designed to evoke discovery and emotional engagement.
Listeners explore new talents through personalized feeds and artist Klubs, while artists manage their communities, upload content, and monitor engagement through a clean, modular interface.
The UX prototype offers guided navigation for testing and highlights clarity, accessibility, and trust — key aspects to turn users into active participants.
The brand identity was built to reflect inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
Its tone mixes tech precision and cultural warmth, balancing vibrant contrasts with a minimal, music-inspired design system.
Every visual element — from typography to motion — was designed to amplify emotion and rhythm, mirroring the experience of discovering sound.
